Joe Louis goes to Gili T

Kyle: Hey I’m heading To the Gili Islands, any recommendations on where to stay and where to go out?

Mike: I stayed at a dive center but there were tons of cheap hostels along the main road. Not hard to find a good one.

Karen: If you’re there on a Wednesday, make sure to go the bar at Gili Hostel and the late night at the Irish Pub. Specials on vodka joss are a good way to stay amped through the night and there’s a good vibe on the island.

Kyle: You had me at Irish pub.

A group of friends I met in Laos created a chat group to keep in touch. As we go to different countries we tap into the network for tips and advice. The group continues to grow as we add on cool people met along the way. People are much more informative than guidebooks and more up to date as well.
